Industrial Exhibitions will Help Introducing our Products to International Market
On 3rd of April 2003, Special Advisor to Prime Minister for Science and Technology Dr. A. Q. Khan NI & Bar HI honored the “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition by his visit. He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Chamber Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. Chamber. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M. Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez, District Nazim, Fiaz Ahmad Chattah, Aftikhar Ahmad, Najam Ahmad Shah and Najeeb Aslam and Qasim-ul- Karim. All the members of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other senior officials were present at the occasion.

He expressed his enthusiasm about the exhibition by declaring that these industrial exhibitions will help introducing the products in the international market and will reveal an outstanding impact on the economy of the country. He also went to the Rachna Engineering College GRW. He displayed a personal interest while visiting the stalls and wrote the following remarks in the visitor’s book “Extremely pleased to see all the engineering products of Gujranwala. It was a pleasure to be here”.
After that the Dr. A. Q. Khan was presented the exhibition shields. After that he had his lunch with all the senior officials present there.

Visit Federal Minister for Industries:
Federal Minister for Industries Liaqat Jatoi along with Azeem Chaudhary also visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition on the same day. He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Chamber Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. Chamber. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M. Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul- Karim.

He emphasized the role of the industrialists in keeping the country on the road to prosperity and success and remarked that Pakistan can be counted in the developed countries by making progress in this field. Mr. Jatoi also spoke to the stall holders and spent few hours with them. He wrote the following remarks in the visitor’s book “I have all support for my industrialists, and would go a long way to achieve their targets. I am ready to see quality goods of local manufacturing. I wish them all the best”.
After that the Federal minister was presented the exhibition shields and had dinner with the officials present there.

The Arrival of Secretary Education to the Exhibition:
On same day, Mr. Khushnood Akhtar Lashari (Secretary Education), Mr. Kamran Rasool, Mr. Raza Ahmad (Asian Development Bank), Mr. Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad DCO Qasoor and Mr. Agha Wasif (Deputy Director FIA KHI) also visited the third “Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition”.

Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul- Karim. All the members of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other senior officials were present at the occasion. All honorable guests were extremely pleased to see the multitude of products on different stalls of the exhibition and appreciated the attempts made by the Gujranwala industrialists.
The Secretary made the following remarks in the visitor’s book “It has been a wonderful experience to visit the “Made in Gujranwala” exhibition. The way it has developed over the past two years, one can hope it will attain a permanent feature. Meeting friends who have been the moving force behind this event has also been excellent. Well done every one”.
The Deputy Director FIA wrote that “I am honored to have the memories of 1st “Made in Gujranwala” industrial exhibition. I wish Gujranwala all the best”. His views clearly suggest that “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition developed a lot in the previous three years.
The DCO Qasoor wrote the following remarks in the visitor’s book “Ever since its inception in 2001, the “Made in Gujranwala” exhibition has been more and more successful. I believe it is one of the best events of its kind in the country. The Gujranwala Chamber of commerce deserves a special appreciation for this singular achievement. I wish them success and best of luck”.
Mr. Kamran Rasool Former Commissioner GRW had the following to say “I visited the “Made in Gujranwala” exhibition two years after the first exhibition. Like the previous time, I was amazed by the range of products and quality being produced here. Truly a most impressive show. The organizers deserve the highest appreciation.”
Later the dignitaries were presented the exhibition shields and had dinner with various officials' presents on the occasion.
