The Industry in Pakistan must Grow Exponentially
Federal Secretary for Ind. & Prod. Dr. Akram Sheikh visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition 2003, on 4th of April 2003. He arrived at 5:00 PM and was welcomed by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh. Zarar Kalim, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul Karim.

President GCCI is receiving Federal Secretary
He visited all the stalls present at the exhibition and showing immense interest talked to all the stall owners. He admired the high quality of the products presented at the exhibition and in his press briefing he urged the industrialists to keep their moral up so that the industry in Pakistan can grow exponentially rather than linearly. He advised the industrialist community to introduce their products for the benefit of common man, so that the import dilemma can be wiped out.
He wrote the following remarks in the visitor's book "It is heartening to see the pride which Gujranwala enterprises/ industrialists have in their products. Their keenness to continuously improve is very encouraging. "Made in Gujranwala" Industrial Exhibition has assumed a very important position in Pakistani events. Full marks, full support offered and assumed."
After the visit Federal Minister was awarded with the exhibition shield and had dinner with all the officials present there.

Visit by Additional Chief Secretary:
On the same day, Additional Chief Secretary Mian Muhammad Jamil also paid a visit to the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition. He arrived at 6:30 PM and was received by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh. Zarar Kalim, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul Karim.

Visiting all the stalls present at the exhibition he was impressed by the high standards of the goods displayed at the exhibition. He wrote the following remarks in the visitor’s book “It is worth noticing to note the quality progress being made by “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition. The dedication of the organizers is highly commendable. They need all types of incentives from the government. Wish them the success.”
After the visit, Additional Chief Secretary was awarded the exhibition shield and had his dinner with all the officials present there.
The Arrival of Sheikh Maqbool V.P. FPCCI LHR to the Exhibition:
After the visit of Chief Secretary, Sheikh Maqbool V.P. FPCCI LHR along with a delegation also dropped by the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition 2003. They were welcomed by the senior officials of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was an official visit from the delegation. At the occasion they were warmly welcomed by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh.
