Modern Community should take an Ardent Interest in Exports

IG Jails Mr. Pervaiz Rahim Rajput visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition 2003, on 5th of April 2003. He was received by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh. Zarar Kalim, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul Karim.

IG Jail is visiting the stall of United Washing Machines.

His visit encompassed all the stalls present during which he admired the high quality of the products presented at the exhibition. In his press briefing he stressed the need to export our products. While visiting the stalls of Super Asia, Sonex, and Climax he was proud to say that our products are of international standards and the quality should be kept up and made use of so that our economy can be stabilized. He urged the modern community to take an ardent interest in this field in order to prevent our next generation from illiteracy of the engineering products.
After the visit Federal Minister was awarded the exhibition shield and had his dinner with all the officials present there.

Visit by 8 Ambassadors of ASEAN Countries:
Later in the day 8 Ambassadors of ASEAN countries paid a visit to the exhibition area. They were received by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh. Zarar Kalim, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul Karim.

They expressed surprise regarding the high quality products on display. Subsequently while visiting all the stalls they praised the high standards marked by the engineering products and took a keen interest in the products that can be exported to their countries. The Ambassadors also invited the industrialists of the exhibition to export these products to their countries for the benefits of both the countries as they regarded the quality of these products to be of international standards. Exhibition shields were presented to them and after that they had their lunch with the senior officials of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce.

Chairman Bank of Punjab is visiting the stall of Golden Pumps (Pvt) Ltd..

Visit by Chairman Bank of Punjab:
Mr. Tariq Hameed Chairman Bank of Punjab also paid a visit to the exhibition on the same day. He was received by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh. Zarar Kalim, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul Karim. He also took a wholehearted interest in the products displayed at the exhibition.

Visit by Provincial Minister for Food:
Provincial Minister for Food Chaudhary Muhammad Iqbal arrived at 2:30 PM on the same day. He admired the high quality of the products presented at the exhibition and talked about the need to make a common man aware of the developments and progress in industry. He felt that this kind of exhibition will help the industrialists in introducing their products to the common man. He further elucidated on his point by asserting that in his opinion these people don’t have a direct link to the industry, but still play an important role in the development of the country by buying goods that are produced in the country rather than rather than imported goods. While visiting the stalls of Super Asian, Sonex and Climax he was proud to say that our products fall into international standards.

Provincial Minister is visiting the stalls at the Exhibition.

He put down the following comments in the visitor’s book “The Industrial Exhibition is wonderful. It shows the talent and skills possessed by the people of Gujranwala. This is so encouraging for me because I belong to Gujranwala. I wish them good luck and success to all of them”.
After the visit the Provincial Minister was awarded the exhibition shield from GCCI and a feast was arranged in his honor.

Visit by Chairman PCSIR:
Later in the day Chairman PCSIR Dr. Anwar-ul-Haq along with DG PCSIR LHR visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition. They were received by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh. Zarar Kalim, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul Karim.

Chairman PCSIR is received by President GCCI.

They admired the high quality of the products presented at the exhibition and said that they are very proud to visit the exhibition and to see that the Pakistani products being displayed were of international standards. They also stated that this can play a key role in the progress and development of not only the industrial sector but also the country. Dr. Anwar-ul-Haq wrote the following remarks in the visitor's book "I am proud to visit the Industrial Exhibition. The industrial products displayed are of high quality and has all the possibilities to export. "Made in Gujranwala" Industrial Exhibition needs all support from the policy makers to support them for export increase".
