The Road to Progress for the Country
Mr. Abdul Rashid Lone MD SNGPL visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition on 6th of April 2003. He was warmly welcomed by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh. Zarar Kalim, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Qasimul-Karim.

He visited each and every stall and was very interested in all the products displayed. Talking to the press news group he urged the industrialists to make investments in this particular field, so that the living standard of the common man can be alleviated. He felt that this is the only road to progress for the country and if this feature is ignored at the present moment, we will see ourselves completely unaware of the things in the near future. Improving the industry is the only way to prevent our nation from falling into depths of ignorance and illiteracy and facing a huge moral and political drawback. Consequently, to maintain the prosperity and the honor of our country we must make ourselves up-to-date in the field of Engineering and Science. He promised to give full moral, political and economical support to the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce. During his press briefing he also admired the standards achieved by the “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition.
He left the following remarks in the visitor’s book” It is a matter of great honor for me for having been Chief Guest for the exhibition. I am really impressed and pray for its success.”
After the visit MD SNGPL was awarded with the exhibition shields. A lunch party was organized in his honor.

Visit by IG Railway Police to the Exhibition:
IG Railway Police Chaudhary Ahmad Naseem also visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition on the same day. He was warmly welcomed by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. President Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Haji Murad Ali, Riaz Mehmood Bajwa, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Muhammad Abdullah, Ch. Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Akram Badshah, Kh. Zarar Kalim, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt, Rana Shahzad Hafeez and Qasimul-Karim.

He arrived at 5:00 PM. He was highly impressed by the products setting new standards of dignity and pride for the nation. Talking to the press news group he urged the industrialists to conduct such Industrial Exhibitions in different parts of the country and abroad too. He was talking about the relieves that must be given to the people concerning to the production of these high quality products. He also said that I am happy to see all the products being displayed are of international standards and they are comparable to the products of the international market. In his press briefing he admired the standards achieved by the “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition.
He left the following remarks in the visitor’s book “Gujranwala is a place of craftsmen and high abilities. My today visit is absolutely remarkable. I wish it will have industry all well. I am sure they will affect further improvements to make them always proud.”
After the visit IG Railway Police was awarded with the exhibition shield. A refreshment party was organized in his honor.
Visit by Mr. Azeem Chaudhary Secretary Organizing PML(Q):
On the same day, Mr. Azeem Chaudhary Secretary Organizing PML(Q), Mrs. Asia Azeem (MNA) and Chaudhary Shaukat Ali Bhatti Minister for Culture and Youth (Punjab) also visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition.

They were warmly welcomed by the President of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kh. Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Haji Ahsan-ullah Chughtai, V.P. Ch. Shafique Ahmad, Ex. They were also highly impressed by the products that are setting new standards of dignity and pride for the nation and urged the industrialists to export these to increase the benefits they are getting. They felt that all the people involved in the production of these goods are highly admirable and there relief provided for them.
He left the following remarks in the visitor's book "I have come to Gujranwala many times. I have visited many exhibitions in different cities too but I am very glad to see the products that have been made in one city
