The Need is to wipe out the Import Dilemma

On the 21st of March 2003, Mr. Sardar Khan Niaza Chairman “Daily Pakistan” visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition 2003. He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hassan, S.V.P. GCCI Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. GCCI. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M.Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (Member Exhibition Committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul- Karim.

Arriving at 10 am, he toured the exhibition well into the day and was highly impressed by the quality of the products on display, which he asserted, met international standards. While speaking to the officials of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry and to the other people present there. He was talking about the high quality been achieved by the products present at the exhibition. He urged the need to export these products to the markets of international community so that the economic stability in Pakistan must be achieved. He was there along with the representatives of his paper.

Talking about the role of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry he added that it has proved to be the backbone of country’s economy. In the end honorable guest had his lunch with the senior officials of GCCI and was presented an exhibition shield by the president GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hassan.
