"Gujranwala" is a City with Unique Significance in Industry of Pakistan
On 29th March 2003, High Commissioner of Mauritius, Mr.R.Dwarka visited the third “Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition”. Arriving at 1:30 PM He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Chamber Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. Chamber. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M. Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul- Karim.

He showed personal interest during his visit expressing high regard for the quality of the products displayed in the exhibition. Visiting all the stalls, he was particularly taken by the Plastic furniture.

The arrival of Nigerian High Commissioner to the exhibition:
Nigerian High Commissioner Mr. A.D. Idris Waziri also visited the Industrial Exhibition later in the same day. He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Chamber Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. Chamber. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M. Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul- Karim.

He showed a keen interest in the exhibition and admired the high quality products, particularly the engineering goods. Speaking to the officials of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and other people present there, he stated that the Industry plays an important role in the progress and development of a country and Gujranwala is a city with unique significance in that respect. The following remarks were written by him in the visitor’s book “I have gone to the exhibition and was highly impressed with what I saw. The different products in “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition clearly show that the progress in the industry is remarkable, and thank you very much for your hospitality”.
Visit by DCO LHR:
On the same day, Mr.Khalid Sultan DCO LHR arrived at 7:00 PM. This was third time that Secretary of


DCO LHR is expressing his views the exhibition.
Information was visiting the industrial exhibition in Gujranwala. He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Chamber Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. Chamber. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M. Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul- Karim.
They were highly impressed by the quality of the products displayed in the exhibition and expressed their views in a joint press gathering. They said that “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition has gained much fame during previous three years and asserted the importance of Gujranwala in the industrial triangle, whose products are playing a key role in the stability of the economy. The exhibition was regarded by them as a mark of success for GCCI. They expressed their hope that the region will progress more in the near future and also urged people to take keen interest in producing export products in order to control the economy. All the members of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other officials were present at the occasion.

The DCO LHR Mr. Khalid Sultan wrote the following remarks in the visitor's book: "This is my third visit to 'Made in Gujranwala exhibition'. I have seen this exhibition grow and improve with each successive visit. The exhibition is unique in Pakistan and an embodiment of skill, hard work and workmanship of the people. May God bless you with great success". The DCO LHR. Khalid Sultan remarked that "I am grateful to Kh. Tahir for the invitation. It's always a pleasure for me to visit the exhibition. I had always tried to establish a close link with the Chamber to revive the memories of Gujranwala .I wish the chamber best of luck".

The Secretary Information Mr. Taimor Azmat Usman visited the third "Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition". He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Chamber Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. Chamber. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M. Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul- Karim.


Secretary Information is visiting the stalls
He admired the quality standards been achieved by "Made in Gujranwla" Industrial Exhibition 2003. He praised the high standards of the plastic furniture. He also visited the stalls of the Engineering goods including transformers, electric motors and other electric machines. He wrote the following remarks in the visitor's book "The exhibition is a show case of the great capabilities possessed by the people of Gujranwala, given the right incentives, the true potential of their dynamic city. I wish the spirit of Gujranwala's enterprise success in the years to come".
DG EOBI Karachi Came to Visit the Exhibition:
On the same day, DG EOBI Karachi Mr. Farooq A. Awan visited the third "Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition". He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hasan, S.V.P.
