“Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry“represents the Industrial Faculty of Pakistan
On 30th of March 2003, Chairman POF Board Lt. Gen. Abdul Qayyum visited the third “Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition”.He was warmly welcomed by the President GCCI ”Khawaja Tahir Hasan”, S.V.P. Chamber Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. Chamber. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M. Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali, Nawaz Ahmad Bajwa, Ch. M. Aslam, Khawaja Zarar Kalim, Rana Shehzad Hafeez and Qasim-ul- Karim. They arrived at 6:30 PM.

He visited the exhibition and showed personal interest and was highly impressed by the quality of the products displayed in the exhibition. He said that “Made in Gujranwala” industrial exhibition is completely representing the industrial faculty of Pakistan because it engineering products are admirable. He also said that Gujranwala has helped the Government to produce the weapons to defend and the Government is proud of its skilled people in a press briefing. He admired the products presented at the stalls of Super Asia Mohd. Din Sons (pvt) Ltd. and Sonex Group of Industries.

He urged the industrialists to take a keen interest in the field of Engineering so that the country may progress. He also said that the industrialists of Gujranwala should not restrict themselves to Gujranwala only but should also display their products in other cities too. All the members of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other officials were present at the occasion.
The Chairman POF Board wrote the following remarks in the visitor’s book.” I was delighted to visit the Gujranwala private sector exhibition” Made in Gujranwala” for the third consecutive year. It has improved in all respects with every passing year. I hope other Chambers will also follow the good tradition to encourage the manufacturers. Well Done. ”
