H. E. Mr. Emil Ghiteolesceo Ambassador of Romania has proved himself a real friend of GCCI. He has visited this exhibition with his wife and the previous exhibition with his wife and daughter. He took keen interest in the products displayed in the "Made in Gujranwala 2003" Industrial Exhibition

He said that Pakistani engineering products are very popular in Sri Lanka especially electric fan, electric motors, washing machines, geyers, water pumps and transformers can easily be exported to Sri Lanka. He said after the free trade agreement between Pakistan and Sri Lanka business activities will flourish between the two respective countries.

On the 21st of March 2003, Mr. Sardar Khan Niaza Chairman “Daily Pakistan” visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition 2003. He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hassan, S.V.P. GCCI Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. GCCI. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M.Akram Badshah and others.

While speaking to the officials of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and to the other people present there, High Commissioner of Kenya expressed the popularity of Pakistani products in Kenya. Consequently, he said, industrialists should introduce their products to the countries of Eastern Africa like Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia, Ethiopia and especially in Kenya.

Mr. Muhammad Hussein visited the industrial area extensively and was highly impressed by the quality of the products displayed. He articulated his admiration for the high standards of the exhibition products displayed and praised the “Super Asia Muhammad Din Sons (Pvt) Ltd.” stalls and Plastic Furniture in particular.

High Commissioner of Mauritius after visiting the "Made in Gujranwala" Industrial Exhibition said that “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition has gained much fame during previous three years and asserted the importance of Gujranwala in the industrial triangle, whose products are playing a key role in the stability of the economy.

The Chairman POF Board wrote the following remarks in the visitor’s book.” I was delighted to visit the Gujranwala private sector exhibition” Made in Gujranwala” for the third consecutive year. It has improved in all respects with every passing year. I hope other Chambers will also follow the good tradition to encourage the manufacturers. Well Done. ”

On 1st of April 2003, President NBP Ali Raza paid a visit to the third “Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition”. He remarked on the quality of the products and assured that the NBP will help the industrialists and exporters in the best possible manner. He urged the industrialists to find new markets for their products, as the goods exhibit international standards.

Corps Commander GRW Lt. Gen. Khalid Munir Khan HI (M) paid a visit to the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition 2003, on 2nd of April, 2003. He was received by the President GCCI Khawaja Tahir Hasan, S.V.P. Chamber Ahsanullah Chughtai, V.P. Chamber. Ch. Shafique Ahmed, convener exhibition M. Akram Badshah, Akhlaq Ahmad Butt (member Exhibition committee), Ex. President Haji Murad Ali and others.

Special Advisor to Prime Minister for Science and Technology Dr. A. Q. Khan NI & Bar HI honored the “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition by his visit. He expressed his enthusiasm about the exhibition by declaring that these industrial exhibitions will help introducing the products in the international market and will reveal an outstanding impact on the economy of the country.

Federal Secretary for Ind. & Prod Dr. Akram Sheikh after paying a visit to all the stalls present at the exhibition talked to the stall owners. He admired the high quality of the products presented at the exhibition and in his press briefing he urged the industrialists to keep their moral up so that the industry in Pakistan can grow exponentially rather than linearly. He advised the industrialist community to introduce their products for the benefit of common man, so that the import dilemma can be wiped out.

IG Jails Mr. Pervaiz Rahim Rajput visited the third “Made in Gujranwala” Industrial Exhibition 2003. His visit encompassed all the stalls present during which he admired the high quality of the products presented at the exhibition. In his press briefing he stressed the need to export our products. While visiting the stalls of Super Asia, Sonex, and Climax he was proud to say that our products are of international standards and the quality should be kept up and made use of so that our economy can be stabilized.

MD SNGPL Mr. Abdul Rashid Lone visited each and every stall and was very interested in all the products displayed. Talking to the press news group he urged the industrialists to make investments in this particular field, so that the living standard of the common man can be alleviated. He felt that this is the only road to progress for the country and if this feature is ignored at the present moment, we will see ourselves completely unaware of the things in the near future.
