By: Shel tec inc.

Reflecting the grace & becauty of the exhibition

Al-Hajj Babu Javed, the city Nazim, had the honour to conduct the opening ceremony of the World's largest Holy Quran on display at the 4th Industrial Exhibition. Once again, the credit for putting this idea into practice goes to the Engineer, Haji Javed Iqbal and his talented workers. It will, by the grace of God Almighty, be displayed in Masjad-e-Nabvi as a rare specimen of the Muslim world. The Muslims all across the globe consider it as a rich source of inspiration and guidance and uphold the sanctity of the holy book. Some of the details of this World's largest Holy Quran are as under:-

  1. It has a modern automatic digital system and is operated with the help of a remote control.
  2. With the touch of a button one can enjoy the facility of turning over the desired pages.
  3. If one wishes to hear the verses aloud, one can do so easily. Even the sound can be heard at a distance of about 1000 feet.
  4. The Holy Quran consists of 202 pages. The size of each page operated by volume is 48 x 96 inches and the width is 12 mm.
  5. It is made of 2 metals i.e. stainless steel and MS steel.
  6. The weight of each page is 70kg with a total weight of 9000 kg.
  7. It cost about 8500000 lakh.
  8. The work is still going on, on the project and it has already taken 2 and a half year.

The Holy Quran is, undoubtedly, the most sacred and widely read book of the Muslims. It is the last book of God and provides a complete code of life to all men on this earth. The above monumental project is undertaken at the World Universal Engineering Works.

Anyone who is willing to contribute financially to the same may contact Haji Javed at the earliest. He may deposit his valuable contributions in a UBL Branch on the Sialkot road. The account number of Haji Javed is 19869. May God grant courage to Haji Javed to accomplish the said target as early as possible.
