Collector Sales Tax, Rana Muhammad Akhtar has said that the 4th Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition has become so popular among all and sundry that people eagerly look forward to it every year. He made it clear that the secret of popularity and success of the various indigenous items on display lies in their durability, strength, excellent quality and peerless standard. He said that the technical hands in Gujranwala are working round the clock to manufacture items of international repute and standard with the result that their demand is growing more and more not just across the country but foreign delegations are showing keen interest in their purchase for their respective countries. He hopefully declared that the cost incurred on the locally made products would be kept at a moderate level despite thee meager resources available to the industrialists. President GCCI Shaukat Javed, the Senior Vice President, Sheikh Muhammad Ali, former president GCCI Sheikh Muhammad Naseem and other respectable members of GCCI were also present on the occasion.

Colonel Malik Muhammad Nawaz, the provincial Minister for Co-operative also visited the exhibition on the same day. He has expressed the view that the 4th Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition so far has proved quite beneficial, and informative for a large number of people who are coming to watch it everyday. He felt proud to disclose that the various articles on display at the exhibition can comfortably be compared with the items displayed in the international markets. The worth and reliability of the said items cannot be challenged by any quarters. He said it is indeed a matter of great pleasure for all of us that it has won Gujranwala a good name and introduced it as an emerging industrial city in Pakistan as well as abroad. He sincerely prayed to God to make this city achieve more progress and prosperity in the days to come. He was addressing an informal meeting in the wake of the 4th Industrial Exhibition held at Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Among the distinguished industrial figures and the business community were the members of the GCCI as well.
