Need to promote local industry

Syed Iftikhar Shah, District Judge Anti Corruption, Gujranwala has said that the 4th Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition is unique in every respect. So for as the standards and quality of the products is concerned, it is in no way less than the international standards. He said he is really feeling proud of being a Pakistani and Gujranwala is the only city where such elegant and charming products are being made. He expressed his views at the end of his formal visit to the exhibition. Shaukat Javed, the president of GCCI presided over the meeting which was attended by senior Voice President Muhammad Ali, Former President GCCI Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Nawaz Ahmed Bajwa, Ikhlaq Butt and other distinguish industrialist and traders.

He said that the Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition has no doubt attained the status of a national exhibition and no one can deny this fact. It will certainly yield positive results and they will be a tremendous increase in the national exports. He made it clear that the promotion of local industry is a guarantee of the development of a country. He praised Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry for always been on the move for the promotion of trade in Pakistan.
