Gazing eyes on the household articles

Hussain Jahaniyan admitted the fact that the people recognized Gujranwala as an agricultural city some time ago and it is true that Gujranwala is known for its agricultural products and the production of best quality rice. But now it has almost reached the pinnacle of fame in the industrial field and the 4th made in Gujranwala industrial exhibition has undoubtedly played a vital role in boosting its image. He said without any hesitation that the products on display at the exhibition are of the first water and it has further improved the per capita income of the citizens of Gujranwala as compared to the rest of the cities. He disclosed that only 3 % of people in Gujranwala have something to do with agriculture whereas the rest are concerned with industrial development in one way or another. He said now we are a part of the global village so we should concentrate more and more on the promotion of industry so that the poverty may come to an end and more opportunities of employment are created for those who are at a loose end.

He gladly announced that the government of Punjab for the first time has introduced an excellent policy which aims at providing basic facilities to the industrialists. The government at present does not intend to speed up the process of industrialization rather it focuses on upgrading the present industrial units. He said that the visit undertaken by the governor state bank is a clear proof of the fact that the present Government is trying to fulfill its commitment of providing loans to the industrialists at a low mark up. He paid fulsome tributes to the organizing committee for successfully holding the fourth Made in Gujranwala Industrial exhibition and expressed the hope that he is looking forward to the same next year.
