Chairman Wapda focusses attention on United Washing Machine

Tariq Hameed, Chairman WAPDA has said with a fair degree of satisfaction that he is lucky enough to have undertaken a formal visit to the 4th Made In Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition for the 3rd time. He was addressing a large gathering of participants which included the GCCI officials Shaukat Javed (President GCCI), SVP-GCCI Shaikh Muhammad Ali, Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Ikhlaq Ahmed Butt, Muhammad Akram Badshah, Muhammad Aslam Khokhar, and the distinguished traders.

He said that he felt delighted to see a vast range of indigenous products made by the skilled workers and craftsmen of Gujranwala who are putting their heart and soul in their work to furthur boost the image of Pakistan. As far as the standard of Pakistani products is concerned it is no way inferior to the imported items. He said that we look forward to the positive results of the ongoing exhibition and if it continues to be organized with the same zest and zeal, we shall be able not just to achieve a target of 500 Billion dollars in export rather the country will make economic and industrial progress by leaps and bounds. It will give an opportunity to Pakistan to take maximum advantage of W.T.O. He said that WAPDA is working round the clock to prepare a package to provide more and more facilities to the consumers. He furthur said that we are introducing more reforms and a huge amount of money has already been spent on the current projects. He fully expressed the hope that we will be able to get the confidence of the consumers in the days to come.
