On the second day of exhibition Chairman KASB Mr. Nasir
Bukhari and President KASB Mr. Irshadullah paid a visit to the “Made
in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition”. Upon their arrival at 11:00
AM they were received by the President GCCI Shaukat Javed, Senior Vice
President Sheikh Muhammad Ali and convener exhibition Muhammad Akram Badshah.
Ex- President GCCI Nawaz Ahmed Bajwa was also present.
Chairman KASB appreciated the role played by Gujranwala
Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the introduction of Pakistani products
to the International market. He added that the visits of diplomats of
different countries have made this exhibition popular internationally.
President KASB said that such efforts are very helpful for the association
of industrialist and bankers. Mr. Irshadullah wrote the following remarks
in the visitor's book. "I am greatly honored to be at the MIG Industrial
Exhibition. I hope to come here every year; I and my colleagues are very
impressed to see the products and to meet very high quality business men.
Our bank is very keen to join hands for the growth of their business.
I am confident that under the leadership of Mr. Shaukat the chamber would
attain new heights in service of Gujranwala."

The Chairman and President KASB were presented with the
exhibition shield after which the honorable guests had their lunch with
the GCCI officials. Nigerian High Commissioner and Iranian diplomats also
visited the exhibition the same day. Praising the efforts of GCCI, they
said that Made in Gujranwala exhibition has provided a great opportunity
to introduce industries of Gujranwala in international markets. They added
that this exhibition has played a vital role to provide people with products
that were not easily available in past.
