Made in Gujranwala Exhibition 2004 ends with a visit of CM Punjab

Fourth Made in Gujranwala Industiral Exhibition is ending on a high note. People of Gujranwala are enjoying the final moments of this mega event and are appreciative of the efforts of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry for organizing this event proficiently.

Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab Ch. Pervaiz Elahi was the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony of the Made in Gujranwala Industrial Exhibition 2004. On his arrival he was received by the President GCCI Shaukat Javed, SVP-GCCI Shaikh Muhammad Ali, Former President GCCI Sheikh Muhammad Aslam, Convener exhibition Muhammad Akram Badshah, Sheikh Muhammad Naseem, Ikhlaq Ahmed Butt, Khawaja Tahir Hassan, Rana Shehzad, Muhammad Aslam Khokhar, distinguished traders and other GCCI officials.

While addressing a large gathering he said, It is indicative of the fact that the industrialists of Gujranwala have left no stones unturned to boost the country’s economy. Ch. Pervaiz Elahi showed his kind attention to solve the problems which the people of Gujranwala were facing for quite some time. He said since a large number of people everyday travel from Lahore to Gujranwala the two way roads are broken at many points and sometimes it results in serious accidents causing a loss of precious human lives. The passengers feel sudden jerks because of the bumpy and broken road which remains filled with dirty rain water as well. Chief Minister assured the industrialists of Gujranwala that a huge amount has already been allocated for the reconstruction of the two way road for the convenience of the passengers frequently moving between Lahore and Gujranwala.

He said that he felt delighted to see a vast range of indigenous products made by the skilled workers and craftsmen of Gujranwala who are putting their heart and soul in their work to further boost the image of Pakistan. As far as the standard of Pakistani products is concerned it is no way inferior to the imported items. He said that government is working round the clock to prepare a package to provide more and more facilities to the industrialists. He further said that the government is introducing more reforms and spending a huge budget on the currently running projects. He fully expressed the hope that we will be able to get the confidence of the industrialists and investors in the days to come.
