Major(R) Shah Nawaz Badar, the secretary labour and
human resource was also accompanied by the Kenyan High Commissioner who
undertook an extensive visit to the different stalls put up for arousing
the interest of the general public in the various local products. He said
that being a Pakistani he immensely feels proud to disclose that Gujranwala
is not just manufacturing products of international reputes and standard
rather it is exporting the same to different countries to boost the image
of Pakistan as an industrial country.
He duly appreciated the tremendous efforts of the people of Gujranwala in introducing the Pakistani products at the international level. He also admired the cooperation of the local administration and the efforts of the members of the GCCI in organizing the whole event. He expressed his confidence that the general public is displaying more and more interest in the items which would definitely result in an increase of productivity at a rapid scale.

He wrote the following remarks. "It is a great pleasure to visit "Made in Gujranwala 2004". It was a pleasant surprise to see the products, their quality and competitive prices. It really made us proud, being a Pakistani. I wish all very sincere gratitude."
He felt delighted to announce that the response of general public to the industrial exhibition is tremendous this year. He assured the members of GCCI of the full cooperation in organizing the same event next year. He particularly expressed his satisfaction that the visitors were just feeling at home without any inconvenience. He said the security measures so far have been excellent and the people including men women and children are enjoying a lot of diversions.
